SalesGennie AI is a chat assistant that store owners add to their WooCommerce store. This page explains what it collects and where that data goes.

What we collect

Shopper chat messages: what shoppers type into the chat, and the assistant's replies.
Store catalog data: product names, prices, descriptions, categories, links and store policies that the store owner syncs.
Session details: a random session ID in a cookie and a browser fingerprint, used only to keep one conversation together and to stop abuse.
Usage records: token counts and response times per AI request, without message text.

Each chat message is sent to two places:

Our server, run by PaByte, which finds matching products and stores the conversation.
Anthropic's Claude API, which writes the reply. Anthropic processes these messages under its commercial terms and privacy policy. Anthropic deletes API messages within 30 days and does not use them to train its models by default (details).

We do not sell chat messages or use them for advertising.

Chat messages on our server: kept for as long as needed to run the service. We are moving to automatic deletion after 90 days, and this page will be updated when it starts. You can ask us to delete your chats at any time.
Store catalog data: while the store uses SalesGennie. Store owners can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing info@pabyte.com.
The store's own WordPress site also keeps a copy of conversations under the store owner's control. Guest conversations there are deleted after 30 days.
